2016 Preview Evening

We are delighted to confirm that after the huge success of our first ever Preview Evening last year, we will be hosting another this year on Saturday 26th November 2016 between 5 – 8pm.

Enjoyed immensely by visitors and stall holders alike, our Preview Evening is a very festive and jolly affair, with visitors enjoying a glass of fizz and canapés, whilst they indulge in some pre-Christmas retail therapy, child free and far from the madding crowd!

The evening event will take place in the historic splendour of the Great Hall, and is therefore limited to only 30 stalls.  If you would like to have a stall at our 2016 Preview Evening, please select the appropriate option on the Application form.

Please note that we cannot ensure all stalls are able to remain in the Great Hall the following day due to the layout of the Main Fair.  However, all stall holders will be able to move their goods at the end of the evening to minimise the time required for set up the following day.

Parking and power are in addition for the Main Fair but are included, where available, in the Preview Evening stall prices.  Please note that we cannot offer all stall holders a power supply so we assign based upon a business need basis.

Preview Evening Set-up and Parking

Parking

Free onsite parking will be available for all stall holders.  Please enter the site through the main vehicle gate on the South Circular (A205) and you will be directed by our Security team to your parking location.

Set up

Stall Holders can set up from 3 pm and the event runs from 5 – 8 pm. The organisers will have decorated the site, set up and labelled the stalls earlier that day and each Stall Holder will be provided with a 6 ft x 2 ft trestle table, and a chair, unless they have specified they do not need them. Please do not remove the labels on the tables. Stall Holders are expected to bring their own table coverings. Please note that no displays or stock can be attached to the light fittings, pillars, walls, etc.

Power

Power supply is limited in the Great Hall and has been allocated only where notified.  All power provided for lighting assumes standard table lighting and no high powered halogen lights or naked flames, including candles and tea lights, will be allowed. You can bring your own battery operated lights if required.  All electrical appliances and lights etc. must have PAT test confirmation stickers and should any appliances be faulty, or not comply, the College reserve the right to unplug and remove the appliance for the duration of the event.

Clear-up and preparation for the next day

Stall Holders returning to the same stall in the Great Hall the following day can either leave their stall in place,  or remove their stock from site entirely.

Stall Holders not returning to the same stall in the Great Hall the following day must remove their products and stall decoration entirely and either set up their stall at their new location for the Main Fair or remove it from site.

The Barry Buildings will be locked, but the College is not responsible for anything left overnight.
